In 2021, we have an incredible 56% of our IGCSE students and 62% of our A Level students who are our named top scholars. These numbers are particularly impressive when you consider our large cohort sizes —135 in Year 11 (IGCSE) and 87 in Year 13 (A Level).
Both the IGCSE and A Level qualifications are challenging and highly rigorous and, given the current climate and the fact that our students were amongst a minority of students globally who actually sat their examinations in 2021, this achievement is truly outstanding. It is also testament to each student’s hard work, tenacity and talent and the extensive support that has surrounded them- from both our staff at GIS and the parent community.
