TEACHING & LEARNING
Secondary Curriculum
As an IGCSE school in Malaysia, we offer a rigorous curriculum with a British foundation, yet an international approach. In Secondary, we combine outstanding pastoral support that compliments excellence across the curriculum to ensure that all students receive academic care that improves their wellbeing and resilience, enabling them to achieve their best. We know that when students feel safe and comfortable in their learning environment, they will achieve better outcomes.
Year 7 – 9 (Ages 11 – 14)
Our Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) programme provides students with a well balanced curriculum of study that builds the foundations for future success by ensuring they are well acquainted with subject knowledge, problem solving, critical thinking and the ability to convey their ideas in an articulate and persuasive way.
Year 10 & 11 (Ages 14 – 16)
Our Key Stage 4 (Year 10-11) programme centres around the International GCSE qualifications, supported by our bespoke GIS electives and the development of social and emotional learning. This programme is the ideal preparation for our outstanding Sixth Form Diploma (GCE A level) programme in Key Stage 5 (Years 12-13) or study beyond GIS.
Our Sixth Form
Our Sixth Form Diploma (for Years 12 and 13) prepares students holistically for life beyond GIS.
