GIS Learning Journey
Garden International School is a through school, educating students from 3 to 18 years old. Enabling a seamless transition between key stages, our curriculum is carefully designed to enable students to build upon their blocks of learning each year within a nurturing environment where a genuine love for learning is cultivated.
Our whole school curriculum has been carefully designed with the end in mind, to ensure that our students are equipped with the knowledge, skills and understandings to be ‘future ready’ as they leave us ready to embark upon the next stage of their educational university.
From the ‘taught curriculum’ in the classroom to wider learning opportunities beyond the classroom, including our unique GIS Elective Programme for our upper Secondary students, we aim to nurture interests, develop passions and cultivate talents, ensuring that our students are equipped with all that they need to thrive in the future.

Student's School Journey
Transitions
We understand that supporting a child as they transition between different stages of their school life is a crucial part of their wellbeing. Our New Student Induction Programme and GIS Buddy System ensure a smooth transiton for all new students.
In addition, comprehensive transition programmes between EYC and Primary, Primary and Secondary, as well as other crucial stages, support our students as they progress to the next stage in their educational journey.
Our support for students leaving GIS is also a key part of our transition work, with our pastoral and counselling teams working together to ensure that everyone is well equipped to say ‘a good goodbye.’
